Project Description
Pilot models of decentralised composting for alternative organic waste management in Kosovo is a pilot project that will design and implement three pilot models of decentralised, environmentally friendly, composting schemes in Kosovo for community-based organic waste management and waste separation at source.
This pilot initiative is supported by the German Development Cooperation through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Centre for International Cooperation and Development of Slovenia (CMSR), implemented by Fondacioni Jeshil in partnership with the Municipality of Pristina, Municipality of Vushtrria and Municipality of Lipjan.
Implementation period: December 2017 – December 2020.
